Alright, so as some of you might have noticed, I’ve been kind of inactive on this blog for a pretty long time. As in, I haven’t posted shit in the last five months.
And I’m gonna be honest here – this break wasn’t caused by some major, ambitious project taking up all my time; nor have I been on any more epic adventures to the furthest, Wi-Fi-deprived corners of the world.
The truth is, I simply got fed up with blogging.
Okay, maybe that’s not entirely accurate; I really only got fed up with the kind of blogging I was doing.
See, there was one major problem with the blog I used to run; it wasn’t personal. Sure, the long, exhaustive articles I was writing might have covered topics that interested me, but I never felt like they allowed me to share with the world what I really wanted to share; myself.
Because that’s why I started this blog in the first place. To share my adventures; my life lessons learned; my perspectives on the world we live in.
An my old way of blogging never allowed me to achieve that.
So what now?
There are plenty of smarter people out there who can do a way better job at writing long, exhaustive articles than I ever could. Let’s leave that up to the pros.
Instead, I’ve chosen to take this blog in a whole new direction, focusing more on my own life, my own adventures and challenges, and the lessons I pick up along the way.
Basically, I’m putting Matt back into this website. Hopefully, this will make the blog both more interesting to write, and to read.
